**Natural gas meters must have at least 3 feet of clear space around them to ensure safety and accessibility. This includes keeping vegetation trimmed, avoiding placing objects like garbage cans, bikes, vehicles, or equipment near the meter, and ensuring gates are unlocked for access.
Clear access allows utility workers to safely perform readings, maintenance, or respond to emergencies without delay.
As your natural gas provider, your safety is our top priority—if you notice any damage or have concerns, contact us immediately.
